Nice modeling and texturing; fairly typical 3DS textures on the walls tho.
A comment about the female model: looks good, but the upper arms and thighs
seem a bit shorter than normal, I think.  The dog in the center is great.
Connection to theme is a bit weak, but not as bad as some.

But I just can't figure out what kinda creature you've placed in the back of
the scene - he/she/it looks kinda weird - but tha woman !!! ohh, she was

Welp, you admitted it yourself. The image was not originally produced for
the competition. That, coupled with no explanation of how it may fit into
the theme leaves me with little choice in applying a score. 
Beyond that though, it's looking good. I hope you can submit something for
the next round. :{)

figures: well modelled, although, frankly, her
   breasts are a bit unrealistic. 

The stuff
on the bottom (water with fog?) could use
some work.  The cave is well textured.
The lighting needs some work -- is the fire even
generating light?

Concept:
This has nothing to do with night.... knight, perhaps? :)
