===== From castlewrks@aol.com: Yoiks... everything is soooo flashy... what part did you really want people to see??? ===== From agage@mines.edu: I'd suggest leaving the antialiasing on for final images -- even if it has to run overnight (or all week, in some cases) the difference in quality is noticed. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: I'm a Trekkie, but this image doesn't inspire me, especially as to theme of "night." ===== From Martin.Magnusson.7121@student.uu.se: The background looks stunning, but the water as you say looks a bit strange. How about using a highly turbulent crackle normal? Good scene, though! ===== From sanna@censa3.polito.it: Maybe is not too original but the sky with starts is execellent ===== From dormammu@erols.com: All those sparkles would make me go blind in real life, I think :> ===== From karl@pemail.net: Interesting picture - shame about the star trek model ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Dazzling use of Galaxy.INC. Personally we think it would have looked better if the Enterprise had been somewhere near horizontal. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: A very bright image, even though it is clearly at "night". Lots of oily, colorful textures throughout. I don't know about the Enterprise. Would this be a better scene without it? Or at least should it be at a normal angle? ===== From djconnel@flash.net: Thanks for the tip on the galaxy file! The image is interesting, and a wonderful first effort. The placement of the Enterprise, though, is a bit strange... it is within two ship-lengths of the ground! The texturing is quite interesting. ===== From econoltd@thezone.net: A bit heavy on the heavenly bodies...almost makes you want to squint. Maybe if the activity in the sky was toned down a bit... ===== From r@207.232.193.166: Space, the final frontier... Notable for textures, modelling, lighting ===== From r@dial-up30.webbernet.net: Off topic smuggled sci fi. Not enough original material. Sky way too busy. Uses copyrighted material.
