Maybe complete symmetry is the effect you wanted, but I think
that some randomness would help the scene.
The glow around the moon is too strong, and there is no other
sign of Earth's atmosphere in the scene.  Since you use the moon
as a light source, have you tried adding atmosphere to the scene?
This may produce a more natural effect.

the still doesn't quite do justice to the possibilities.

It is cleverly done, but I am not sure "night" is really
represented in the theme... flying fish is a nice subject,
but how does is highlight the night idea?

Interesting idea.  Nice moon.  The arcs are too regular.  Some randomness would
help.  At least break up the even rows.  I suspect that this idea would work
