I think you should have placed the clouds more horizontally. The wayt they are

Why your plate became a polygon?
Did you make the plate with a cylinder or did you rotate an object
with straight sides, for example a box or wireframe?
If a rotated straight side object, there should have been more of them.
If you used the cylinder, we have no idea why it came out with straight
sides.
View through the wine glass was too ambitious, otherwise not bad.

With a bit more work, this one could have been a real
winner!!!  As you note, there are some flaws which could
easily be addressed with iteration, but the view through the
glass is a very nice touch.

Very nice sky and fountain.  Very artistic background.  I like the idea of
shooting through the glass.  If the plate is patches, you may have run into a
bad conversion.  If it is csg, perhaps it is a bounding box problem.  Just
