===== From cmorack@relex.com: Those aren't bats, Fred. They're bras flapping in the wind! ===== From castlewrks@aol.com: I'd have liked to have seen a bat closeup and fuzzy... otherwise this image was interesting when applied to theme. ===== From agage@mines.edu: Nice use randomness and theory to produce a realistic scene. The edges of the moon are a bit rough, though. ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Hmmm... nice! I liked it vey much, it's really original! ===== From Martin.Magnusson.7121@student.uu.se: I like the trees and the moon, but the bats are almost too chaotic. Some of them seem to be flying upside down. ===== From sanna@censa3.polito.it: A very good idea but the models both of the bats and the moon can be improved. Moreover, a better rendering engine with antialiasing should be employed. ===== From dormammu@erols.com: Very nice -- but some of the bats don't look all that realistic. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Very artistic. Has the strength of a simple idea. We think a little bit more effort should have gone into making the bats look more like bats but overall a pleasing image. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Clouds seem to be really too dense and white, especially since there is no sign of any other haze in the sky. Nice randomized effects on the bats. Moon edges are a bit too jagged. What's illuminating the tree leaves so brightly? ===== From djconnel@flash.net: I like the zoomed view of the moon! The rendition of the bats in the "dense cloud" is also quite good. The trees could use a little work, though, and there are bad aliasing effects on the moon edges. Also, you should use 800x600. ===== From r@client836b.globalnet.co.uk: Notable for originality ===== From r@dial-up30.webbernet.net: Dramatic image. The bats work well. Foreground trees need more realistic leaves. This comment by clem@dhol.com.
