===== From cmorack@relex.com: This must be another wonderful example of nuclear fallout being used to build 'falloutmen'. ===== From agage@mines.edu: A bit strange, maybe not on-topic. Good use of lighting, and the snow is done well. ===== From Martin.Magnusson.7121@student.uu.se: I like the snowflakes, they make me think of fairies. The snoman's arms are very good, too. The branches of the pine trees look a bit blurred, bit map too small, maybe? ===== From dormammu@erols.com: Very nice. The texture on the snowman is a little wierd, tho.. looks a bit like styrofoam to me. ===== From karl@pemail.net: Good idea for "faking" tree / nature effects ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: A cute image. Tells a story. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Trees are really well done. The falling snow looks unconvincing. Nice soft glows around the lantern, but this contrasts with the hard-edged shadows on the snowman, making him look too solid, like he was carved out of styrofoam. Colors seem red/yellow/brown (warm) instead of steely/white/blue (cold). ===== From djconnel@flash.net: The snow flakes are a bit large. The snowman texture looks more like cement than like snow. The snowman modeling could use a bit more "imperfection". This one has a lot of potential, but needs a bit more work. ===== From peter@table76.demon.co.uk: A different, and effective, way to make trees. I liked the bear, too :-) . ===== From r@dial-up30.webbernet.net: Tree branches are good. Trunks look fake. Clever idea. Snow teddy bear a nice touch *but don't do it again!!!!* Snowman spheres are much too regular. Lamp is good. Overall, a nice image. This comment by clem@dhol.com.
