===== From cmorack@relex.com: Struggling in dark? Maybe the valiant trooper should take off his helmet, because those giant spotlights seem to be pretty damn bright to me. ===== From agage@mines.edu: The modeling, textures, and lighting are all very good. I especially like the lasers on the weapon (though unless the guy has some kind of optic tracking, the laser on the helmet seems a bit unnecessary, though it could be for range info I suppose...) Not sure what the exact connection to the theme is, however. ===== From Martin.Magnusson.7121@student.uu.se: Munnen ar snudd pa fantastisk! Inte mycket att klaga pa alls, faktiskt. Mojligtvis lite val tjocka laserstralar, men det ar ju bara en smasak. ===== From dormammu@erols.com: Very nice picture, but you should've given some more indication that it was night... maybe a viewport or somesuch. Good picture overall, however. ===== From bill@apocalypse.org: I wonder if SpaceDog will ever bump into this hombre ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Science Fiction theme not directly related to topic but image otherwise does tell a story. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Frightening. I have nightmares about this image. Great models and lights. Hardly a "Night" scene, though. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: Nicely done! However, the environmental lighting is quite substantial... given that it is anindoor scene, I see no connection with night. Clearly he is outfitted with enhanced vision, but the scene isn't a night one. That issue aside, this is an amazing image -- extremely nicely modelled and well rendered. ===== From r@du13-251.ppp.algonet.se: If you beat me this time too I really know that this compo sucks... Notable for lighting ===== From r@du206-1.ppp.algonet.se: Hey man! Notable for originality, lighting, composition, textures ===== From r@dial-up30.webbernet.net: Off topic smuggled sci fi of sorts. Save the video game illos for a fan site. This amount of effort could have been spent on something relevant with good results. This comment by clem@dhol.com.
