The mirror seems oddly placed to me -- if someone in the car was looking at 
the mirror, they wouldn't be in position to drive, it seems.

Interesting concept.  The scene in the mirror is too 2D.  Some normal mapping or height field work would have helped.  The dashboard of the red car needs detailing.  This comment by clem@dhol.com.
