===== From cmorack@relex.com: If I ever look through an empty roll of toilet paper, and see something like that, now I know who to come after. I'm disturbed, now. You've disturbed me with such blatent happiness and fun and wild, uncontrolled cuteness. ===== From castlewrks@aol.com: Looks like the claymation artist left fingerprints on the guy's jacket. ===== From agage@mines.edu: Good modelling, and interesting use of color. The lighting is a bit odd... ===== From Martin.Magnusson.7121@student.uu.se: I like the concept, but perhaps you should have emphasized the cartoonish look even more. ===== From jjanger@mail.cspp.edu: Original and stylistic. ===== From dormammu@erols.com: This picture reminded me of that Samshing Pumpkins video "Tonight" (I think that's the song name) for some reason.. :> ===== From karl@pemail.net: Nice bright colours, interesting variation on the man in the moon ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: As you say, definately not a photorealistic image and I'm afraid, not one that we found particulary artistic. The balcony fence, we thought, was its best feature and looks nice. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Highly inaccurate, but fanciful and creative. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: Actually, I believe you did do the only "astronomer looking at the stars" image :). This is an interesting interpretation of the theme, and a nice use of the raytracer as a departer from the photorealistic paradign. The modeling is perhaps a bit simplistic to win the contest, but it is consistent with the style, and an impressive work. ===== From r@dial-up30.webbernet.net: Nice layout. Clever image. I like the little house and the skyscrapers. The star faces are good. A face would have helped the astronomer. Very interesting color scheme. Nice cloth texture. This comment by clem@dhol.com.
