the image came about as I meditated on staying up late
DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:
I have the mantle clock and created the image by the following steps:
1. the original shape is a box with two cylinders differenced from it and then unioned with the middle cylinder
2. the brass ring on the clockface is a torus that is rotated
3. the lens is a sphere that is hollow and scaled to flatten it out
4. the bloodshot eyes are the red marble texture
5. to make the pupils and lenses of the eyes, I differenced out a cylinder and flattened sphere
6. to make the color of the eyes I used the radial fill

All in all, I wanted an image that would bother me...
