===== From spanky@wpi.edu: Great job on the fish, and especially their textures. ===== From d97ta@efd.lth.se: the fish's eyes are popping out... also, it looks more like above water with the ocean hanging from the sky: needs a blue fog or shafts of light coming thru the surface. the shadows are a bit sharp, use more (or area) light sources. ===== From marc_w@ncx.com: i really like the fish texture ===== From falcompsx@earthlink.net: I really like this picture, but i the pillars don't represent nature too well. I think that maybe a volcanic rift in the ocean floor would have been a bit more apropriate, but overall, I like it. ===== From buck@cs.byu.edu: Nice, i like the image map on the fish. Very "exotic." The pillars are nice, too, but look too "new." Perhaps if they were eroded somehow? ===== From roymeo@eai.com: Love the fish (especially the color). The murkyness of the water could be cranked up quite a bit (especially in the distance). ===== From djconnel@flash.net: Each fish is nice, but the use of exact duplicates really hurts the scene. Each fish should have distinctive variations. Furthermore, I am unsure what the columns have to add to the topic. One hint : the "thorny edges" can be avoided with antialiasing. There is no need to render large and downsample. ===== From bill@apocalypse.org: I like the rippled water very much. ===== From fisher2@pobox.upenn.edu: What really would have made this picture would have been to have many more fish then you had in this scene and perhaps 2 or more types of fish. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Charming. The "Atlantis" columns brings an interesting diversion to an otherwise plain scene, and makes it much more evocative. The fish colors are imaginative, but seem unrealistic. Why do fish always swim sideways to a camera? I think swaying green plants would be a nice addition to this scene.
