===== From spanky@wpi.edu: Wee! Frog for Froggy! ===== From mikko.oksalahti@dosetek.varian.com: Kinda makes you happy. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Did you use the "smooth" option on your height field? DO NOT like the frog eyes. ===== From d97ta@efd.lth.se: the mountains look like they are painted with glow-in-the-dark paint. is the frog a stone statue? the image needs more work on the textures. the modeling of the frog is quite good though. ===== From buck@cs.byu.edu: Good work with the blobs. The water is nice and pond-like, too. The water-lilies are too flat, though... Also, the background could use a little more work. Or, focal-blur would do a nice job of focusing on the frog and hiding lots of detail in the background. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: Nice composition, and nice "cartoon-like" frog model! However, you might check out the POV "help" file on using negative spheres to cancel out the overlap of blob cylinders at intersections. Also, the mountains should be rendered as smooth polygons, not flat ones. The lily pads are quite interesting... ===== From bill@apocalypse.org: "It's not easy being green" - Kermit the Frog. Wonderful frogs, the moutains look like they need more resolution to them. ===== From fisher2@pobox.upenn.edu: I kind of like the cartoony look of this pic. :) ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Good blobby frog, but strange eyes. I think the mountains have too many visible edges within the colors.
