===== From gregj56590@aol.com: A really neat idea with several major flaws. The arm man is supposedly leaning on is hanging in midair. If you wanted to texture pieces of Poser figure separately, try bringing them in as separate objects. Lack of transparency of image field seriously degrades your entry. Man shouldn't be so dark & shadow-free: I assume hand is raised to cast a shadow over eyes. Try a higher scale on the tree's texture. ===== From d97ta@efd.lth.se: with a render time of 9 minutes 11.0 seconds one would think that you could rerender with ripples and fix the imagemap, don't you? ===== From stubbs@dundee.net: very impressionistic. groundplane could use some life and obviously the box around the figure is distracting (unless you wanted it that way to highlight the figure). ===== From karl@pemail.net: For some reason there is a light gray box around the person. Nice concept on the trees ===== From buck@cs.byu.edu: The trees are a good idea--they would probably look best at a distance, tho. Also, the man is nicely modelled, but the shadows give away the fact that his hand is not on the ground... ===== From djconnel@flash.net: I think you realize what improvemetnts need to be made. The image map of the man didn't work. ===== From bill@apocalypse.org: What's with the square around the guy? I lvoe the impressionistic trees. Go all the way, recreate a Monet next time. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Peaceful relaxing scene. Good use of fog to give a sense of distance. Signature is too verbose, but not too distracting, because of the well-integrated color. Visible imagemap rectangle is inexcusable. Ground texture is much too plain. The unique treatment of the trees gives the scene a nice impressionistic look. Good job. Extra points for no teddy bear!
