===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Poor contrast. Entry left me wanting to see more of reptile, rather than invoking mystery of reptile. ===== From d97ta@efd.lth.se: nice 'n moody... too bad only the reptiles' tails are visible :( ===== From stubbs@dundee.net: I like the way the sinuosity and color of the tails are mirrored in the foliage ===== From buck@cs.byu.edu: The tails and plants are well done. The water looks pretty syrupy, though. ===== From roymeo@eai.com: Thank you for doing a raytracing that's dark. Far too many candy-colored things out there. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: Nice plants! The image isn't bad, but use more pixels. The water texture needs more work -- it should be transparent. Also, you should use full 800x600. ===== From uwe.post@gmx.de: too dark. ===== From fisher2@pobox.upenn.edu: The color of the water is a little odd. If you want it opaque it should be a brownish-green color. If it's blue or clear it should be transparent. As it is, it kind of looks like blueberry-flavored milk. :) The anti-aliasing in this scene is quite nice. I like the composition. Interesting use of a perfectly square space. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Cool title! Sublime textures and sneaky lighting. Biggest problem: the water is totally opaque. It looks like a pool of blue paint. Make it transparent.
