fantastic sky...
the blobs don't look much like lava... they're too blobby.
there is not enough eye-candy here, and the volcano is placed
dead centered. is the gold sprinkled sand supposed to be water?
i would say it needs bigger waves.

Water, sky, and lava are great.  The volcano itself looks pretty
nondescrip--more detail would be nice.

The lava texture is really good!!!

The sky is also quite striking... it appears bright
in two places, though.

However, you need to work a bit on the modeling.
I didn't know what I was seeing until I read your
.txt file.

Good viewpoint.
The smoke has sharp edges, making it look unrealistic.  Try using a halo
instead.
