===== From tlyons@gnn.com: I had the same concept, but viewed from inside the dome...122h and it was only half done8( ===== From jamez@xover.ml.org: nature's the topic! ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Very nice idea and plants. Landscapes on moon less than interesting, seem like an artificial wall. ===== From d97ta@efd.lth.se: why not just fly to the earth, which is all green? the clouds on the planet are too bright/flat. the leaves are lovely. overall the image is a bit sterile (well, being on a sterile planet that might not be a bad thing though :) ===== From buck@cs.byu.edu: Neat idea. Very well modelled and put together. The plants in the arboretum are well done, too. My only suggestion would be to improve the realism of the earth, maybe by adding a halo around it or something. Also, your pic seems to have the jaggies...did you use anti-aliasing? ===== From djconnel@flash.net: Nice job! However, you need AA (no, not "Alcoholics Anonymous -- AntiAliasing), as there are clear aliasing artifacts. Otherwise, I really like this one! The concept is quite good, and the perspective an interesting one. The attention to detail in the doors to the greenhouse is also quite effective. ===== From fisher2@pobox.upenn.edu: Very nice! I took a point off of Tech, however, because of aliasing artifacts which are showing up in this image. I liked this one better than the Terraform one though, the Terraform one looks too similar to Frozen Utopia. You must like round things. :) ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Interesting. Well-made details such as the floor and yellow features inside the rings. Great touch with the rounded edges everywhere. I'm surprised this rendered so fast with the heavy use of transparency. Nice try on the Earth, but it just doesn't look realistic -- does it improve on the one in the POV-Ray documentation? ===== From no13@ozemail.com.au: An excellent interpretation of the theme. I realy like the foreground but the mountains in the background are a bit of a let down. They are a bit to regular.
