I'm trusting you that this is not a photograph.  The only flaw I found is the
white signature in the top right corner.  A bit distracting.  Technical notes:
'nothing really complicated', but used perfectly.  Scale, position, focal blur
fog, clouds, light color, perspective.  All your simple elements are perfectly
aligned.  This is an outstanding image. There is little relation to theme other
than physical representation of the elements.  So what, this one wins in my
book.

Wow... this is a really striking image.  Nicely done!  This one is
a worthy winner, to say the least...

The only room for improvement I would cite is that it focuses
on one of the elements, rather than on "elements".  If this
was submitted to the water round it would get a score
even higher than the high score I am giving it here.

The lighting is incredible.

overexposed and backlit aspect, subtle use of depth-of-field,...  Looks
like an opening scene for an animation movie.  I can hear the bell ringing

Whoa!! That's great. I liked it as soon as I saw it. Looks more like an old
photograph, and definitely not generated. Colors, lighting, athmosphere: nearly
perfect. Perhaps the clouds are a bit too dark.

The sunlight streaking through the clouds is nice but if you used a little more
texture on the church and land it might add more intrest to the scene. But the
softness and quality are both very good.
