Poser is never going to do it for me, the figures always look exactly what they
are.. models.

This image has a lot of potential, but also needs a lot more
work.

The poser figures need some texturing work to move beyond the
plastic look.  And the "ice" texture doesn't appear to be ice....
crystal, perhaps, but it really does need more attention.

The problem with triangles is that they give mediocre reflexions and really poor
borders if they are too few. Unfortunately, you came across both of these
problems, leading to an image which dhould have been much better! Very good
modelling indeed!
