===== From scooby@pld.com: The "recursive" monitor image is spectacular! ===== From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com: I like it, but I find myself wondering..."Is there a mirror behind me? Or is there a camera aimed at the desk with the image being transmitting to the computer?" The image is simple and the note on the desk is a great way to relate to the theme. I'm just trying to figure out the image in the monitor! ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Off-topic. ===== From mwhite@concourse.net: Really enjoyed your image and its concept. Nicely done! ===== From 93johnst@scar.utoronto.ca: I like the steam effect. ===== From bobfranke@halcyon.com: As a big coffee drinker, I really like the theme for this one. The scene doesn_t necessary need more objects, but more attention to detail would help. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: All of the elements of the scene are quite nicely done -- the wall is excellent, the coffee cup very nicely done, the screen simple but competently modeled... however, it needs a bit more to take it to the next level. See, for example, Glen McCarter's image this round. One tech issue : you clearly applied too much JPEG compression. It results in serious distortion of the reds in the scene and near the edges of objects. Try cranking up the quality. ===== From wozzeck@club-internet.fr: Nice texturing and lighting. The main problem here is composition: the scene remains rather empty... ===== From 101741.541@compuserve.com: Your interpretation of the theme falls into the "Why not ?" category ! The cup is nicely modelled, the desk's wooden texture is correctly scaled and oriented (not so common !). Using patches for the monitor gives it a "paper" look, kind of fragile; the coffee looks gray, don't know why.
