===== From scooby@pld.com: Nice image with some very good modelling and texturing. Nice concept also. ===== From roth@ens.ascom.ch: Just love the $0.02 !! ===== From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com: Neat idea with the black and white 'unimportant' objects. So well executed I didn't notice you leading my eye around to the colored objects until I read it in your description. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Not related to topic. ===== From nx@chez.com: Interresting objects. I guess the picture is too gray, and textures are missing for walls. Beware about perspective (mostly for the window). Your picture will probably be fine if you try to use radiosity and a little bit more sampling for the area_light(s). ===== From bobfranke@halcyon.com: I like the idea. I didn't fully appreciate it until I read the text file. My only suggestion for improvement is to add more light sources, including one outside the window. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Excellent floor and disk case. A few other objects, such as the window, are lacking detail. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: How can one do a 3-D scene w/o a keyboard :) ? The modeling here is quite promising. The use of color is also clever. But it needs a bit more work to make it a real winner. For example, there is too much emptiness in the scene -- achieving a more interesting camera position would go a long way to making it more effective. There is an excellent PC rendering in the "Night" image -- check it out. ===== From wozzeck@club-internet.fr: Original idea. A bit more anti-aliasing would not have hurt (calendar, left frame). ===== From ekennedy@voyager.net: Very topical! ===== From 101741.541@compuserve.com: Using color/gray to highlight important elements is a good idea. Modelling looks good. Is your window really like the one in the image ? I have doubts such a window can exist (but I'm being picky about windows). The composition could focus better on the main subject (computer desk), avoiding some sad empty areas. Noticed the dustbin ;)
