===== From scooby@pld.com: Beautiful image of mountains, tree, fire, and sky. If the lightning was as high quality as the rest it "woulda beena contenda!" ===== From roth@ens.ascom.ch: Holla Mauricio No hablo espanol! ===== From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com: Lighting looks thick and blocky. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Lightning should "light up" that which it hits. ===== From ewgr@abaddon.globalnet.co.uk: Que..? ===== From jsaxton@folio.com: Looks great ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: I like the flying bits of burning branches, and the great sky in the background. The lightning itself seems much less realistic than the rest of the scene. This image needs to be 800x600. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: The lightning needs more work. In other ways the image is good. El rel_mpago necesita m_s trabajo. De otras maneras la imagen es buena. (translation : http://www.babelfish.altavista.digital.com ) ===== From wozzeck@club-internet.fr: (sorry to comment in English) Nice picture. I just regret it is only in 640x480, and that the lightning is a bit too thick. ===== From r@cust193.webbernet.net: Very good. Unlike most 3dsmax images this round, the textures are very well done and realistic. The mountains are good, the sky is excellent and dramatic, and the tree is very nice. The fire (elements plugin?) looks, as usual for this renderer, like it is poorly composited in, but at that range the effect is still pretty good. The lightning is very good indeed. It forms a very credible Lichtenberg figure, although the branching rate may be a bit high. I like the halo around the bolt. The angles of the lightning could be a bit smoother. Well done, overall.
