===== From scooby@pld.com: Nice job! Very appealing to the eye. Some problems with proportion of the fairy; however, I give high marks to anyone who can work NURBS. ===== From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com: I like the pic, because I like looking at it and it's a good theme. And you were effective at adding hair that looked good. Unfortunately that was against the rules, so points off there. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Nice(!!) image, but off-topic ===== From nx@chez.com: Hey ! You should not post-process your pic ! Anyway, the model is great, and especially the wings and its texture. Remember the view is against the light, so the strong additionnal lights are not realistic. Mais c'est mignon quand meme... ===== From mwhite@concourse.net: Nice image I especially like the way you created the wings and pixi. Nice hair also. ===== From ewgr@abaddon.globalnet.co.uk: I've never actually seen a pixie so I don't suppose I should comment on the fact that her femur is twice the length it should be?, but I can't resist. ;-) Nice picture though. ===== From skywise@fix.net: Great image... The pixie's skin looks a bit orange, though... But conceptually and artistically, it's a great image... ===== From bobfranke@halcyon.com: Normally when an image has been post processed I give a very severe reduction in the Tech score. But because of the beauty and great modeling of the pixie I was not as severe as usual. I especially like the detail in the ankles and the water ripples centered on the body parts. Keep up the good work. Without the post processing we may soon see you in the winners circle. There is no need to apologize for your english. It is way better that my non-existent second language. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Very nice textures, modelling, and lighting. But her proportions seem wrong -- legs too long? ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Beautiful image. Well Done. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: Holy smokes!!! This is an excellent image!!! However, as I am sure others have noted, post-processing of the hair is against the rules. This is unfortunate, as you have done a fantastic job with the other elements of the scene. I am sure this will hurt your score, which otherwise deserves to be with the winners --- I really look forward to your "water" entry. I am sure it will be in contention for the top prize!!! ===== From r@ppp-sfx201--071.sirius.net: love the wings + leaf ===== From r@dynip420.efn.org: Absolutely brilliant use of color. Incredible modeling. My only complaint is that the stomach region should have a slightly less smooth exterior.. But very minor. I'd never come close to your work. The hair is incredible. ===== From r@dial-up46.webbernet.net: Very impressive image. The pixie is very well modelled, especially the feet. The only problem there is that the proportions of the legs seem to be wrong. The composition is very good. The play of light on the rippling water is outstanding. The lens flare works well, except that the little hexagonal outriders should be eliminated. In this image, they distract. The use of color is very, very good. If it weren't for the little rules misunderstanding, this would be a strong candidate for the winning image. This comment by clem@dhol.com.
