JPGFILE: smhstone.jpg RENDERER USED: 3D Studio Max 1.2 TOOLS USED: Paint Shop Pro 4.1, Bryce 2, Poser 2, Rhino IMAGE DESCRIPTION: The image is basically supposed to be the building of stone hendge DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: Firstly I got the idea to do stone hendge in the engineering round but was too busy to enter in that round so I hope I'm not judged too hard for doing it for the elements round. Stone Hendge I believe most closely fits in with the element earth and at that time would have been a site of great 'magical & spiritual' importance. The background in the image which include the sky and the hills were created in Bryce 2 and put as a background in Max. The foreground was all created in Max, except for the humans which were created in Poser 2 and imported into Max. Large Stones = Boxes with noise Rocks = Spheres with noise Holes = Loft from Rhino was used to bullean out a cube Ropes = Cylinders and toruses with large bump maps Logs = Cylinders that were taperd at the ends Trees = Image maps placed on boxes in the form of an X (top view) Dirt = Image maps Fire wood = Cylinders with noise Men = Made in Poser 2 and imported into Max Tools = Made from simple geometry in Max
