===== From jerry@hoboes.com: The fog effect is really cool. The grass could use some work--it looks like water in its own right. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: I don't understand why water on right is different-looking. I like the tree on the right better. Bricks are too simple. ===== From amason@cs.uct.ac.za: image is nice but a bit featureless. more detailed textures would help. ===== From pmccombs@hotmail.com: The water looks good. Fog was a nice touch. ===== From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de: The fog is used very nicely, but the overall scene is quite boring. ===== From johnson@pharmacy.arizona.edu: Ground needed more plygons, you can see the flat planes. Maybe HF types cold have been used to give more ground detail. ===== From jaime@ctav.es: That's UK, no doubt. Only there POV fog is so realist. ;) Nice atmosphere. I find the foam too bright (or it is a strange industrial residue?:() Finally, my understading on the sky thing, it's very diffcult. ===== From Varyk@aol.com: Nice and desolate. I found flat overcast and fog similarly useful as I a= m a true beginner and was inspired to enter with a week to go in the roun= d. The trout ladder is a nice touch. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Great sense of solitude on a cool morning. The bubbling water seems almost too bright white, and transitions a bit too abruptly into the still water, but a good effort nonetheless. The lock mechanism could use a little more structure. How does it work? The sign is gratuitous and detracts from the scene because it upsets the scale: is it a huge sign, or is the lock too small for boats? Not a bad image overall. ===== From peter@table76.demon.co.uk: It looks as though the fog has obscured some of the texture details. ===== From chipr@niestu.com: A bit too simple, good use of fog. ===== From r@slater.ed.edu.jonkoping.se: Hmmm. the gras looks very flat, but i like the water.
