===== From prizog@hotmail.com: You might be able to compule your own 3.1 for Linux... I haven't tried yet because I've been too busy with school work. I'd start with 3.0, then grab 3.1 for DOS into a new directory, copy the changed files that are not in the msdos specific directory over, then use the included make files. remember: you have to specify the location of the X11 libraries. Great image, BTW. ===== From jerry@hoboes.com: It might be the reflections, but it looks like water is leaking out from above the water level :*) The foot looks creased also. Otherwise cool concept and nice fish. I think it deserves its own series on Fox. ===== From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com: Cute idea...I'm a fish owner, so it's good to see them get the upper hand! ===== From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de: The idea and some parts I quite like. The water dripping out of the bowl looks like totally opaque pills, and the water spilt on the sand looks like a plastic film, water sinks into dry sand immediately. The guy's foot show very obvious meshing artifacts. ===== From johnson@pharmacy.arizona.edu: Ok, kinda simple modelling, though. ===== From djohnston@iname.com: The foot and fish modelling are great, but the bowl needs some work. The refraction seems to be too strong. I don't remember fish bowls causing that "upside down" effect, or at least, not that strong. Maybe I'm wrong. I also like the dehydrated water tablets. :) ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Good characterization on the fish -- he has that sly, nasty look, which is typical for sandfishes with guns. ===== From chipr@niestu.com: Cute concept, nice expression on the fish's face.
