===== From xeo@home.com: needs a slpash of color... ===== From jerry@hoboes.com: Very interesting image, but I think something needs to be done with the water to make it look like water; as it is, without your description, there really isn't any way to say they're worshipping steam or smoking tobacco... except for the lack of a black market if you're in California :*) ===== From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com: Simple, effective, unique, and very cool! The floor lost some quality in conversion. It's good that you didn't try to make realistic creatures, the abstract ones work best in this scene. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Why? ===== From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de: Nice composition and lighting. Sometimes it's best to keep things simple, I also like the idea of a black&white raytrace image. ===== From johnson@pharmacy.arizona.edu: Too simplistic for my tastes, and nothing looks like water here. ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Nice lighting. The water wapor is also wel done. I don't see perhaps the need for a wide image format. ===== From Varyk@aol.com: I like the high concept behind this scene. I really didn't notice the no= ses till I read about them. I think a touch of color would have been str= iking, like maybe just a hint at the vapor cloud's center, like the one r= ed dress in Schindler's List. (Maybe I'm just being colorist.) ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: I really like the bold use of NO color, it really makes a statement. It gives an air of authority to an otherwise surreal image. It's a shame that the image format is so horizontal, it looks like only half an image. As if the image was stopped in mid-render. Also a few too many JPEG-compression artifacts for me.
