===== From agage@csee.usf.edu: Excellent attention to detail (including the frog). A lot of neat effects for POV...especially the 'wet' rocks in back. ===== From xeo@home.com: Uh oh, this looks like *my* entry, fern, frogs, and all... :( ===== From witoslaw@kki.net.pl: Great pic! So much detail! Maybe sometimes just too perfect... ===== From manorton@tcnet.net: Very nice, I love the frog. I can almost see Steve Erwin jumping in to save some poor bugger :) ===== From jerry@hoboes.com: Really impressive! Good ferns; your frog/amphibian looks like it might be wearing shades :*) Your sand texture doesn't match the amazingly cool rocks and plants in quality. ===== From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com: The water on the rocks looks great and the green lighting is used to good effect. The water seems to end abruptly at the rocks. Cute frog. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: I like the frog, consistent construction, overall feeling. ===== From vogelap@email.uc.edu: I like the feeling of this scene -- it feels like I've stumbled upon a hidden cove. The feeling of life in this scene is quite nice. ===== From paul.flanzy@jouy.inra.fr: I like globaly youre picture but the rocks in the background seem a little beat plastic like ===== From beliaev@utu.fi: I think usuing 'smooth' might have improved the quality of the green heightfield on the background. ===== From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de: Quit a nice image, though I think the rocks on the left look a bit too coarse. ===== From johnson@pharmacy.arizona.edu: I like this better than the other image. You got the floating frog just right! ===== From jaime@ctav.es: That's the good one, sure... what an ambient! Magical... P.S.: And your "wet" layer is better than mine... :( ===== From Varyk@aol.com: wet rocks turned out nice. Cute frog! ===== From djohnston@iname.com: The only improvement I can offer here is the ransition from the rocks to the plants. I can't put my finger on it, but it almost looks like those movies that first attempted blue screening, where you could pull out the added background from the foreground. The plant life just doesn't look as though it really belongs. Unfortunately, I don't know how to fix this problem, which makes my comment almost useless. But in all other way it is a fine image. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Yes, this is a pretty picture. The (mostly submerged) frog is a nice touch -- the focal point of the scene. Good height field shapes, but you can see quite a bit of pixellization on the one on the left. The water/sand interface is a too-sharp line, but I cannot suggest a way to improve this. Decent subdued lighting, although the waterfall seems to be artificially lit. Fine image. ===== From chipr@niestu.com: Very tranquil feeling. The sandbar in the left front has a lower level of surface detail than the rest of the image, and looks a bit "plastic" compared to the rest of it. The water, floating lizard, plants, and background rocks are excellent. ===== From r@203.102.40.35: like the wet rock texture but others look a bit flat in comparison ===== From r@dc2-modem1283.dial.xs4all.nl: Yuk. That rock looks really slimy... It's great! This is a really 'wet' picture, so I suppose it fits the theme... :) The rocks on the left seem a bit blocky... like a low res heightfield(?) and the plants seem flat, but other than that I admire it all. Notable for lighting
