The angle is the key, if we could see the side of the fish it would suffer. The refraction of the tiles through the water is great. ===== From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de: If the tiles disappeared when the IOR was too big then probably the plane has the normal faced the wrong direction (i. e. downwards) and you suffer from total reflection.
