===== From manorton@tcnet.net: Need a better sky. ALso the water does not show any warping like real water. ===== From prizog@hotmail.com: Render music: Cantina song from Star Wars? ===== From jerry@hoboes.com: Good job on the aliens! I'm seeing lots of cool uses for blobs in this competition. This close up to the beach ball, we should probably be seeing a less-flat water's edge at the ball. Perhaps a small height-field merged with the water-box right with the ball? ===== From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com: It's funny. The aliens are great, I assume you wanted the claymation look to them. Even if you didn't I like it. The sky appears vertical, as if the world ends just past the pool. And the wall in the background looks odd, perhaps some vertical scaling would help. The pool texture is nice, but there's a sudden shift in color halfway through the scene. The float looks great, but there need to be ripples around the ball and other alien. I don't mean to be picky, but with a little more work this would be a wonderful scene! ===== From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de: The water forms funny patterns on the surface, but does not refract the light as real water has to. Raytracers like POV support this, just a simple parameter to be set. (Did you ever notice how a spoon half submerged in water appears much shorter?) Well, maybe this is a weird alien ball, but normal balls like this are only submerged for a tiny fraction, not for half their volume. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: I like the way the "horse floaty" tilts from the weight of the alien. ===== From Martial@Biosys.net: 'tis fun! Good blod '-)
