Nice rough texturing, and the focal blur is well used.  The submerged
object appears to be the stack of a boat, but maybe this is part of the
illusion.

The water is well done, though its contact with dry land seems a bit too
abrupt.

The scene has a 'Myst' feel to it.  the water needs to interact with the
objects
in it.  Perhaps a watermark on the cylinder and ripples from the crates.

Well, not revealing "tricks" will cause inconvenience for you, because the
scores will be lower. To me the mist does not look real, either, rather like a
film perpendicular to sea the viewing direction with some texture on it.
You cannot see through the water and the boxes floating in the water are very
strangely lit, as if they each had a small lightsource for themselves.
The water does not interact with the concrete structure or the small patch of
land in the foreground.

I have to say that the wood texture on the boxes is quite good, along with the
clouds in the sky.  The mist off in the distance looks a bit odd though, as if
it were mapped onto a large cylinder or plane of some sort.  It doens't look
quite...'misty' enough (if you know what I mean).  Otherwise, very good!
