===== From jerry@hoboes.com: This close up, the lack of real ripples on the water becomes too apparent. Also, why does the water look so much smoother under the pier? ===== From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com: wow, 2 years before the topic was revealed. The water needs some waves lapping at the shore and the wood would look better grittier and duller. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Shoreline ends unpleasantly. Wood texturing has some neat features, not bump mapping or surfacing isn't right. ===== From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de: Please read the rules! Do not use old images! The poles seem to end at or above water level. The water is so clear that you can see the ground, then you should also be able to see the poles under water. Such poles are usually made from tree trunks diretly, so the top surface should show concentric rings! Otherwise it would be a waste to make them round. Wood always cracks along the grain structure. ===== From johnson@pharmacy.arizona.edu: Posts need to have concentric rings on end. ===== From djohnston@iname.com: I like the wood texture, and the way you made the pieces of wood looks battered. The biggest improvement could likely be made in the shore texture (IMHO). ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: You must submit *new* images for the IRTC. ===== From r@tk156239.telekabel.at: Well, this violates the 'You may not use an image that you created in the past.', sorry.
