at the shore and the wood would look better grittier and duller.

Shoreline ends unpleasantly. Wood texturing has some neat features, not bump

Please read the rules! Do not use old images!
The poles seem to end at or above water level. The water is so clear that you
can see the ground, then you should also be able to see the poles under water.
Such poles are usually made from tree trunks diretly, so the top surface should
show concentric rings! Otherwise it would be a waste to make them round.
Wood always cracks along the grain structure.

I like the wood texture, and the way you made the pieces of wood looks
battered. The biggest improvement could likely be made in the shore texture
(IMHO).
