This is what could have been said in the ACN (Ant's Communication Network) on
the evening news:

"Today, several young worker ants were surprised while they were searching for
food in the 'Big Pool' zone, near New Ant City. While at work, an enormous jet
of water came out of the 'Big Hole' mountain, and the pool started Flooding.
Fortunately, all the workers managed to swim to a safe place in time and now
they are here to tell us how this happened:

reporter: Could you tell us how this happened?

worker  : I was trying to pick up a peace of tomato, stucked under a shiny
metallic rock, when someone shouted "Hey! Don't you hear something?". By the
time he ended the phrase, the ground started to shake and there was a big
"BRROOOMMMM" followed by a huge jet of water that came from the sky !!!!
Before I could run, the water started to fill the Big Pool Valley and me and my
colleages started to swim away from the center of the jet. We could see how
enormous objects were gulped by the jet as we were trying to get to a higher
place.
I was the first to reach the border and within 2 minutes we were all in a safe
place.
Wow! That was near!!

reporter: Thank you. 

This is the third time this happens in the last 20 hours. Our cientist are
trying to find the cause of this natural phenomenon that puts in danger the
lives of our people.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 
    This image makes intensive use of CSG
objects. Everything is made of toruses, cylinders, etc. with the exceptions of
rotational sweeps in the dishes and the liquid soap bottle; and some bezier
patches for the yellow cloth and the spoons.
The dish texture is a layered texture of a wood color map with a spiral, in
order to get that blue  pattern in the borders. 
The water jet is simply a cylinder with a custom water texture and a bump normal
pattern very turbulent and scaled storngly in the direction of the jet to give
some "movement" effect.
The whole scene was modelled using Moray for Windows and the liquid soap label
was created with Corel Draw 4.0 and applied as an Image map to it.
