DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: Everything was created with POV-Ray's text editor. All textures were created by me (except the sky background, which is included in POV's "textures.v2" file). The aliens are blobs. The alien reaching for the beach ball has a crackle normal and the one on the "horse floaty" has a bozo normal. The "horse floaty" itself is a torus and a blob, each with the same bozo color_map pattern and (phong .9) applied as a finish to give it that "plastic" look. The beach ball has a radial normal and a gradient_x color_map; plus (phong .9) for the "plastic" look. The pool water is a cube that is scaled really big. It is partially transparent and has a reflective finish (as well as phong and specular). The pool wall is a cube that is scaled and given a wrinkle normal.
