===== From bobfranke@halcyon.com: Kind of a backward concept... no encounter. The light source seems way to bright, the colors are washed out. I like the pose of the disappointed man, it's perfect. ===== From caleb@chemeng.uct.ac.za: Those trees look really good. The plain background takes a lot away from an otherwise good scene. But as you said, not enough time. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Nice blending of image-mapped trees with 3d modelling. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: While I think this has a lot of potential, as you note, it needs more attention. ===== From east103@dialaccess.com: Interesting concept. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Nice image. All the pieces are there but might have been better with more attention to the main subject as it is not at first clear what the picture is about. ===== From 101741.541@compuserve.com: Using many 2D elements in a 3D scene can be interesting, but the technique must be pushed much further : more layers, especially in the background. ===== From blaineholmes@hotmail.com: I like your trees and grass. The image seemed to have a little too much contrast in some areas. ===== From wozzeck@club-internet.fr: Idee interessante. L'image est vraiment trop contrast_e, mais le positionnament du decor est tres naturel. ===== From clem@dhol.com: I really like the uneven lighting of this image. It implies clouds and occluding objects offscreen and adds to the realism. The scene layout is good and the scene tells the story well. As usual with Poser models, he is a bit stiff but not as bad as some. I wish I knew more about what you created and what was stock material in order to judge the tech merit better. From your description, I have to assume it was mostly stock parts, but in any case you assembled them well. ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Original concept. ===== From r@haka.saunalahti.fi: Nice trees. The light seems rather too harsh - less contrast might've made the ground look better as well. The sky and the water look rather dull.
