===== From bobfranke@halcyon.com: The lighting of this scene is fantastic. The modeling of the church is also very good. For me the texture of the walls is nearly perfect, too bad you can't claim it as your own. The texture could be improved by adding some roughness, it's a bit smooth and noticably tiled on the columns. For me the only real flaws are in Tarrock's left forearm and his right hand appears faded. All in all a very nice image. ===== From newkirk@snip.net: Stunning. More lighting might be appropriate, but indirect only. Perhaps colored light from a source behind the stained glass. (A spotlight through the window falling on the crucifix?) ===== From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com: I like the lighting effects in this scene and the pose of the knight is perfect! ===== From dick@buckosoft.com: Very nice picture. I don't think you quite pulled off the topic in the pic though. After reading the test, yes i understand, but i still don't see it in the pic. Perhaps if there was more of a focused "divine" spotlight on the king. ===== From caleb@chemeng.uct.ac.za: Fantastic image. really excellent. the skin and hair doesn't look right, but i dont know what you can do to change it. The high detail stain-glass window is great, and i am always a sucker for great-looking stone walls ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Impressive. Superb lighting. Powerful image. ===== From MMandl@aol.com: Artistically a beautiful image but it is off topic. ===== From tina@tezcat.com: This scene reminds me strongly of a character on a MUSH I play on. Made me all sentimental-like. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: Nicely done scene!!! I don't see that it says a lot about "first encounter", but it is quite a strong image. ===== From east103@dialaccess.com: Very artistic ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Very well done image. Good composition, lighting and detail. However, without the text easy to miss the relevance to subject. ===== From 101741.541@compuserve.com: "Simplicity is the goal, Textures are the key" don't agree, LIGHT is the key. light brings nuances into the textures and define space. You really should work in that area. Your 2 images suffers from a light passing trough, but illuminating nothing, so the scene doesn't really comes to life. ===== From blaineholmes@hotmail.com: Great job on the textures. Love the stone and the stained glass. ===== From wozzeck@club-internet.fr: Good idea and point of view. Background texturing is nice, but the foreground is highlt perfectible. I could not find any setting to get a correct lighting. ===== From clem@dhol.com: The comparatively simplistic looking Poser guy clashes with the excellent detail of the church. ===== From r@haka.saunalahti.fi: Simplicity truly leads to perfection. The only thing I'd change would be the armor sleeve, which currently looks like rubber. Notable for composition, lighting, originality, textures
