===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Very original. Nice montagueing of different scenes. ===== From newkirk@snip.net: superimposed images is a nice effect. (Is that a CUBAN cigar? ;^) ===== From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com: Nice job, especially the martian face! And you just *had* to put a cigar in there didn't you! :) ===== From caleb@chemeng.uct.ac.za: Had it not been for the visual effects (colors and shapes) you put in, this picture would not have worked. Well done ! ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Clever idea, well executed. ===== From tina@tezcat.com: Very X-Files. (That's a compliment, from me, really.) Also the cigar was... an interesting touch. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: Excellent!!! One small suggestion : there appears to be some banding on your height field -- there are various techniques to address this. But I really like this one. It is cleverly composed, the attention to the details of the President's desk are very nice, and the concept is quite original. (Lewinsky a ruse? Please..... That alone is worth a concept point :)) ===== From east103@dialaccess.com: The hands could use more work. Nice face though. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Clever, a different approach. ===== From blaineholmes@hotmail.com: You had me rolling "special agent Lewinsky". Ha.. ha... ha.. I like the way you faded from the Mars surface to the desktop. Nice work. Good creativity. ===== From clem@dhol.com: The alien face and the human hands, especially the fingernails, are very well done. Unfortunately, too much of the story is carried by the text portion. I think that the fade was a bad idea. It further muddies the interpretation of the image and mars it esthetically with distracting artifacts like the fadeaway hand and the odd shadows on the paper. A true splitscreen would have been better. As usual, the letterboxing was a bad idea. ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Nice touch the cigar. Is Monica with the president? ;) ===== From r@haka.saunalahti.fi: Nice layout and use of color, the scene is well balanced. The hands are rather well modelled. The only thing this image IMHO lacks is a clear raytracing element - the layout is rather two-dimensional. Notable for composition
