I like it!  There's no spectacular breakthroughs, but it is 
a very
solid image.  You make good use of texture, which really 
brings
the most out of the simple models.

Politically correct. Well done but a bit ambiguous. The 
out of focus mesas are ok but do look a bit like shipping 
containers covered with tarps and the landscape 
reflection on the helmet tends to get mixed with the face. 
Good work but could have been improved.

Nice pic, Simon. It remains on my HD, no doubt. I like the close-up, bcos it
transmit all you mention in the txt. Also, the China choice is nice. I liked
the leds on the helmet interior and the melancholic face (perhaps not intended,
but very appropiated). The BUT is the ground color, expected to be more brown
for Mars (IMHO).

The face is nice, the angular features work well in this image. The helmet looks
a bit too smooth, it might be more realistic with some scratches or even dents.
The mesas don't really look very natural.
