===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Pretty neat landscape. However, spacecraft is a bit too simply modelled. And composition / contrast is harmed by placing spacecraft right in front of a crater, making it look like craft has a wormlike appendage. ===== From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com: It doesn't look like the moon, but your idea is great, and funny! ===== From manorton@tcnet.net: It does not have enough depth. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Good color tones on the terrain. ===== From MMandl@aol.com: The moons surface was too rough and made it difficult to see the lander and the astronut. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: This image gets high concept points, and representing the "local" as a shadow is classic! I really like a lot about this image. But there are two areas of improvement.... One is scale. He's too large in comparison to the module. He clearly wouldn't fit in there.... The other is texture. The ground, for example, appears to be solid rock, not powder. The ship lacks the metallic textures of the actual. These need a lot of attention.... With a little more work, this could be a really top-notch entry. ===== From east103@dialaccess.com: Nice concept, but could use some more work with the textures For some reason I didn't recognize the shadow of the monster until I looked at the thumbnail? ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: I suppose you intended the illusion of the monster's eye? A very clever image done with humour. ===== From blaineholmes@hotmail.com: Great job, I love the monster shadow and the whole look of the man, like "Maybe if I hold real still he won't see me." ===== From wozzeck@club-internet.fr: I really miss the face of the astronaut seeing this! The settings show many triangular artifacts from the HF. Textures would really be improved by using a different texture for each object: you have a strange-looking impression of continuity here. ===== From clem@dhol.com: An interesting idea. Did you notice that, in the thumbnail or a distant view, the top of the lander and the portion of footprint behind it form something that looks amazingly like an eye? ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Original and funny idea! You must work a bit more some textures, specially on the metallic ones. ===== From r@haka.saunalahti.fi: Parts of the ground look fine, but others break badly into triangles. The "Eagle" is a little low on detail, as well as too small compared to the astronaut.
