===== From bobfranke@halcyon.com: I think this is your best entry in the competition. I like the black and white background and tree. The alien also looks good. I agree, the connection with the topic seems a little vague. P.S. I too think the new U.S. bills are ridiculous. The rest of the world must be having a pretty good laugh. Also, Ben Franklin is on the $100 bill. ===== From ande8545@blue.unco.edu: What? Don't you like Monopoly money? ===== From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com: I like the idea, the alien, and the blue halo. The money on the ground appears to be floating. I didn't know it was money until I read the text. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: I like the tree and the alien. Also, the use of color is nice. The ship is novel in its representation. However, I am not sure it really represents either "first" or much of an "encounter".... I also really dislike the $20 design. So many of the world's nations have beautiful currency -- why did we blow our chance? ===== From east103@dialaccess.com: The money is floating was this intentional? Nice job with the alien. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Cute image. Very alien. We wish we had a tree like that! ===== From blaineholmes@hotmail.com: Cool tree! ===== From clem@dhol.com: Interesting if bizarre idea. The bills are too small to really identify visually. It might help if a few were still hanging on the tree. The alien seems to be calmly walking through a rocket exhaust. ===== From r@haka.saunalahti.fi: The mood in the scene is very intense - I'm sure you're already working on your horror entry. Why are all the bills on the ground? (floating above it??) Hanging a few from the tree would've made the point much more clear.
