===== From bobfranke@halcyon.com: The design of the pyramid looks about right. All of the men seem a bit bow legged. I would like to see more variety in their poses. Maybe next time take the people to the next level an add the ability to change their poses. Nice work. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Temple (a human engineered structure) looks a little bit too geologic (like lava). Sand is a bit boring & flat. ===== From kniazfam@ohio.net: Good idea! It's good to get away from the alien idea once in awhile. :-) I only wish you had made the men look a little less cartoony, and a little more realistic. ===== From grimmg@hotmail.com: it could be very well but the 'humans' are like balloons (rounded) ===== From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com: Nice job on the armor. The flag is very stiff, almost like wood and there are no footprints in the sand. ===== From manorton@tcnet.net: The pyramid in the back is nice. Would be good to see more of it. And your poor solders look terably ow legged. but very nicly done. ===== From dick@buckosoft.com: The banner is too regular. (see reflections) needs a wave. The faces are too dark. Nice pic. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Figures seem a bit stiff and cartoony (who has legs that far apart?), but obviously a good deal of effort put into the scene. Very good theme -- unique and right-on-topic. Flat "floor" and sky are bland. Good subtlety on the pyramid, but (look in the reflections in the breastplates and helmets) where are the other "fantastic buildings" ? ===== From djconnel@flash.net: "Clone wars" ? :) This has a lot of potential, but all your men look exactly the same. A little more attention to "little details" would go a long way to making this a more effective scene. ===== From east103@dialaccess.com: Good job on the men. Composition seems lacking somehow. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: The first impression is good and on topic. Closer inspection gives the feeling that the Spaniards must have been very uncomfortable! ===== From blaineholmes@hotmail.com: I like the armor on the men. ===== From r@haka.saunalahti.fi: The people are well done, and the background is okay if a bit dull, but the ground looks more like yellow concrete than sand - it's perfectly flat. Some footprints and/or rocks could've been just the thing. Also, I thought they used cloth for banners - this one looks distinctively wooden.
