===== From bobfranke@halcyon.com: Being from Seattle I too would like to do this. After about two viewings, I find Chihuly's art tiresome. The wood grain on the table needs some work and the carpet shows tiling. The broken glass work is very good and the ropes and stanchions look about right. Mainly, I feel you missed an opportunity to work with some nice lighting effects. Chihuly's art is often displayed in dim rooms with well placed spotlights.. ===== From newkirk@snip.net: Carpet is fabulous. Wood pattern seems unrealistic, in contrast to remainder of image. Glass looks odd, but I don't know whether that is appropriate to the object being modelled. (IE, is it supposed to look opaque?0 ===== From grimmg@hotmail.com: he should write books !! ===== From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com: Connection to theme is tenous. I wish the camera was closer to the action so we could see the object d'art better. You did a nice job on the carpeting (which has been a difficulty of mine)! ===== From dick@buckosoft.com: How many pixels per minute does the TI-86 render :) ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Simple, but nice detailing on the cordons and the hammer. Clever title. Yes, it is a "cool idea for a raytrace", but I don't see much connection to "First Encounter". ===== From djconnel@flash.net: Well, I suppose its best one get these things out of ones system via raytracing.... :) ===== From east103@dialaccess.com: Nice job with the glass and the rug. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: The image is very well done. Topic connection tenuous. ===== From 101741.541@compuserve.com: Interesting camera position. ===== From blaineholmes@hotmail.com: Nice job. Love the floor and smash work. ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Sorry, but I really don't understand nothing, specially how this is related to this round topic...
