===== From jmendoza@gwhs.denver.k12.co.us: It looks like is has a Quake I color palette... ===== From denny1@home.com: Oooo, love the curving "flower petal" staircase, very nice. But, I think it needs a bit more, or perhaps a bit less. The fog is heavy enough that the scene doesn't achieve a sense of understatement, yet isn't detailed enough to be an intricate alien structure. ===== From mztyree@sedona.net: It's an interesting concept and geometry. I think the lack of color variation in the green and grey makes it less interesting, though. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: That one certainly triggers imagination. Very original, a very good interpretation of the theme. It's a pity the sky does not look so good IMHO. And maybe some colours (not many) would enhance the scene. It is really too dull in just those green shades. ===== From shipbrk@gate.net: Interesting concept, but a weatherbeaten stone texture might have made the structures look a little more "ancient". ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: It *is* an imaginary world! ===== From gshaw@monotix.co.za: Simple but effective. Where does the spiral staircase lead? ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: Quite a nice image to look at. I'm just wondering two things: Why don't we see the stairs at centre spiral under the water until it fades from view? And why isn't this anti-aliased? Apart form that, high on concept and artistic. ===== From jull43@ij.net: "Who built this place, why and where did they go?" I have to ask why did they build it. Personally I would say the composition would be better without the vertical spiral in the read center. Maybe it mathematically connects with the rest of the structure but it does not appear to do so visually.
