===== From denny1@home.com: Lots of people will ding you for not making it 800x600 in the IRTC. The rough cut stone texture is nice. I wouldn't expect the columns to be cut so roughly, though. ===== From mztyree@sedona.net: Good composition and image! You are on your way to creating many imaginary world of light! The stone could use more dirt and colors. The partly covered bricks in the foreground are a nice touch. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: Yes, simple but nice. The one thing that would really make a significant change to your picture is that you unfortunately picked the exact same texture for all your building blocks, making them look unreal, artificial. In the future, play a bit more with the scale/translate/rotate/transform statement in the texture section, and this diferently for each object - use loops, random, ... Also even though it is more realistic to see all blue under the sea, some more colouring would make it nicer - IMHO. ===== From shipbrk@gate.net: The sand burying the streets is an especially nice touch. ===== From houston.graphics@iname.com: I like the ruins, I would have liked to see some plant or sealife, at the moment this could easily be a night scene on land, as there is no visual references to being underwater. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Good concept. ===== From gshaw@monotix.co.za: Buildings look too perfect. Very little damage done by centuries under water. No other ocean life. Nice for a start. Keep working on this. It has the potential to be a very good picture. ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: Needs a few more textures and colours... A good start to an image, detail of shifted blocks and fallen columns should be expanded on with additional scene components. ===== From jull43@ij.net: Why does Atlantis always have Athenian architecture? ===== From r@pc4.cs.siu.edu: good idea Notable for originality
