===== From spanky@wpi.edu: This is a really beautiful forest scene. I love the mushrooms, and the large trees are especially nice. It's too bad your little sprite had to be a poser2 figure, it's the focus of the image. Great scene composition, great use of l-systems(i gotta learn how those work!), overall, I'm humbled by this image. Outstanding! ===== From denny1@home.com: Love the gnome. Poser is a wonderful thing. The mushroom caps are nice, but a bit too much like plastic. I love the ferns along the right side, they look pretty realistic. The boundary between the earth and the tree root is too smooth, like one flows into the other. There should be a bit more of a junction, I think. ===== From eallen@highway1.com: Now you've made me feel bad. This is your SECOND entry? Outstanding! ===== From Nathan@Kopp.com: nice plants... you moss texture could use a bit of work... I like the tree-bark texture, though. over, very cool. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: The trees are very nice indeed. It must be me once more, but why so dark ? ===== From shipbrk@gate.net: Really nice textures. ===== From grimmg@hotmail.com: Very impressive! ===== From houston.graphics@iname.com: I like this image, buty it could have used some of texture on the plant leaves to the right of the picture. I like the texture on the tree. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: A nice image with a feeling of magic about it .Well composed with good lighting it gives the feeling of being real but not of this world . Well done . ===== From gshaw@monotix.co.za: Some of the leaves and the gnome's hair look plastic. Otherwise very nice. ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: Good image.. well done on all the plants, except the red mushrooms and the green plants at lower left are maybe a bit too shiny and plastic looking. ===== From jull43@ij.net: It inspires my imagination. Not only that it makes me want to work to imagine. Well done. BTW: the spots on the fly aminita are concentric (but randomized) around top center sort of, not a "checkerboard" impose on it. (no points lost for that.) There are some nice pictures on the web. The greenish around the bottom of the trees, attention to detail is great. I would suggest the leaves from bottom right through the path through the trees could use a bit more in the way of texturing but the path falling right on the rule of thirds is perfect. ===== From r@209.155.62.50: Notable for lighting, modelling, composition, textures
