===== From denny1@home.com: My goodness, what a model! Incredible! Astonishing! I like the Orc bald, I've never thought of Orcs as having much body hair. Nonetheless, if an Orc had hair, I'm sure he would braid it into dreadlocks. I'd love to have seen their story in the description. Are they survivors of the defeated Horde of Darkness, who limped from the battlefield earlier that day? Are they deserters? Are they a travelling troupe of Orcish Chess Masters, plying their trade from city to city? I didn't realize the discoloration on his forehead was a brand until I looked at the source file. Scar tissue (even long healed) is generally darker than skin, you could darken the brand a shade or two and still be realistic. ===== From klynn@uswest.net: I think I like him better w/o the dreds anyway --tough to imagine the orcs sitting around the campfire braiding each other's hair! ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: Ain't you be so lucky, you have so much time in your hands !!! I wish I could say the same. Good work, but not my taste. ===== From shipbrk@gate.net: Nice textures, great modelling on the foreground orc's mail shirt. ===== From caleb@chemeng.uct.ac.za: fantastic modelling ===== From bobfranke@halcyon.com: Excellent job of modeling. The clothing is very creative. I especially like the cloak and body armor mesh. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: It *does* look like all the Orcs I've ever read about in Fantasy books! You worked long & hard on this, well done. ===== From gshaw@monotix.co.za: Very well done. The orc looks very good. Stars look wrong, or are those clouds in the sky? ===== From clem@dhol.com: Awesome piece of modelling. The detail of the orc is incredible. I particularly like the bloody bandage and the way the cloak and chainmail hang. The leather texture is outstanding. The face is amazingly detailed as well. The rocky stream in the background and the fire are also very good. The only problem I see with the foreground orc is that the fingers don't seem to attach quite correctly. The ground, the foliage and especially the sky let the image down a bit. In any case, this is really impressive work. ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: Great orc! Impressive modelling and detailing. Lighting nice and moody. Only one question: isn't orc blood green? :-) ===== From jull43@ij.net: It just looks bad.
