DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: The image was created using a mixture of SPatch, Moray & POVRay, and Thomas Baier's 3Dwin conversion program. The skull is a mesh that was found on 3DCafe's site, it was created by James Hell and was released free for any use. Originally a Wavefront OBJ file it was created to Moray UDO format with 3DWinOGL. SPatch was used to create the space suit and the rocket. The patches were exported to Moray 3.1 and incorporated into the scene. The Canadian flag was created in Corel Draw an exported to GIF format with Corel Photopaint. Corel Photopaint was used to create the heightfields. Moray was used to create the textures, layout of the scene, add the text and export to POV format. POV was used to render the scene, took about 3.75 hours to render in its final form on my p200mmx.
