===== From denny1@home.com: The face is very nice, very believable. The hair is quite interesting: it looks like smoke. I guess they're a race of hot-heads. The dress texture is a bit flat, especially in the shadows across the chest. The ring bracelet doesn't appear to have any spacers between the rings or any support bar, but yet the rings are remaining suspended above her wrist with some distance between them. Yup, some object intersection problems. ===== From Nathan@Kopp.com: nice modeling. good 'mood' in the image. I don't really care for the color combination, though. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: I love it ! To start with, you're too honest. The judge indeed did not see the grass through the root, only after extreme examination after reading the comment. The whole spirit of the scene is perfect. Very humane in many ways yet four arms, that makes you dream ! The caustics, faked obviously, but so real looking and the two other moons of the main planet. That is really neat. A good cultivation of detail. The small decorations on the bridge, in the distance. Also I really like the hair, though you said it was not a success, what is shown just below the straw hat really looks well. Maybe a very open cone rather than a disc would have been better for the 'flat' part of the hat. In the tree that's close, the leaves seem pretty well distributed, probably because there are several places where they stem from, but in the distance, the distribution of leaves seems a bit flat. It looks odd to see this thin white layer on top of the main planet's surface, there is not meant to be any atmosphere as such since the whole palnet is an atmosphere in itself - though a strange one indeed. Or maybe this layer does reflect reality but I'm not too sure about that. Maybe again you just wanted to make out some imaginary planet, but then why take a picture out of the real world ? As I'm viewing these pictures in the order they appear in the web page, and I will have very little time to come back for a second review, I'll just say that so far that is the best one I've seen. Congratulations. ===== From shipbrk@gate.net: Nice modelling, especially on the hands and lizards. ===== From houston.graphics@iname.com: Nice, I particularly like the nobelwoman, well done. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Very clever doing her arms that way. Good face. ===== From m.r@lemel.fr: Aoutchhh ! it's a great great works ! I like alls in the image and the The Maths tentacle. (I seen the source. holà ! ) Thanks for the reference book and thanks for this big blue dream ! ;-)) Martial ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: Nice. Good use of colours, interesting composition, cute critters, nice wavy water. The plants look good, and the straw hat works. :-) The sky could use a little detail, maybe a wispy cloud, or more well-defined fading to the horizon. ===== From jull43@ij.net: For me the focal character is just too human for the most part to get into it. ===== From r@209.155.62.50: Gorgeous! Thanks for the footnotes! Notable for modelling, composition, originality ===== From r@209.155.62.50: a winner! Notable for modelling, composition, originality
