===== From denny1@home.com: Yup, the kids always come up with great ideas. Maddening, isn't it? I really like the crashed saucer, complete with a bit of smoke wafting up from it. The exploding rocket is also quite nice, with its engine still firing but careening off course. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: Not my cup of tea, sorry. ===== From shipbrk@gate.net: Good modelling, nice dramatic lighting. ===== From bobfranke@halcyon.com: The main problem with this image is that the under side of the heightfield is visible. Try moving it farther away, increase the scale. Also I suggest not using the wide angle view to remove the distortion. I like the saucer crash and the lighting on the launch pad. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Good concept. ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: Cute. The mountain texture could use some more detail, and the vast expanse of black at top and bottom begs for some subtle lighting and hazy details of some sort. Rocket looks a bit odd - is it meant to have irregular lighting, or is it painted with black blobs all over it? ===== From jull43@ij.net: Yah! Right! A double positive that is a negative. ===== From r@209.155.62.50: the disk crash (ow!) is a nice touch.
