===== From sammy@cube.net: For a run down billard table, it is in a way too good condition. Still ... it amy hurt your feelings, but I think it's rather off-topic. ===== From Martin.Magnusson.7121@student.uu.se: Very good lighting, as are the textures. The yellow sheets of paper look good too, but what are they doing there? Are they score tables? The wooden texture on the billiard table has just the right finish, but the scale of the white dots and ball holes is wrong, I believe. They should be smaller. The plant is nice, but I wouldn't put such a plant where it is if it was my room. Also, it looks pretty fresh for being a historical plant. Anyway this is a beautiful scene. Congratulations! ===== From jerry@hoboes.com: The paper looks very well done; and of course I'm a big fan of Guiness. That chalker might be a big oversized, hardly a big criticism. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Would a potted plant thrive in an abandoned ("it's history) pool hall? ===== From jull43@ij.net: To me this is modern even though "old." Pristine condition would be more history to my view. After that, it looks just messy, unkempt not old. ===== From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de: This is a very good one! The wood textures seem just right and the volumetric is very subtle, but adds a lot of atmosphere. ===== From tlyons@gnn.com: 1 sugesstion ; cob webs & dust! ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Very, very realistic. Hardly a good connection to "History", but a great image nevertheless. I like the superb lighting and resulting shadows. ===== From davidwilkinson@cwcom.net: Interesting concept and nice detailing, but the haze is a bit overdone. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Atmospheric, and yes, a sort of history. ===== From bobfranke@halcyon.com: Dramatic lighting but unrealistic. I think the same effect could be achieved while striving for more realism. For example, the pool table needs to be fully illuminated. Also, there is some nice modeling here. ===== From skywise@fix.net: This image really struck me, for some reason or another... I can't put my finger on it, but this image just really works for me. I like the sentiment and the composition and everything... I got daring and gave it straight 20's, because I just couldn't find a thing that really felt wrong about it... Great image. ===== From r@pluto.icom-solutions.com: Looks just how I would imagine a place like this would end up. Notable for lighting, originality, composition
