Located in the Black Hills of South Dakota. This nonprofit cultural/educational/humantinarian project is a long overdue dedication to the Native People of North America. The immediate area is not only a tourist attraction complete with mueseum and gift shop, but also a place of education being the location of the Native American Learning Center. The memorial bears the name of a heroic Native American Chief of the tribe Sioux. He is most famous for his defeat of Custer and his refusal to surrender his people and their way of life to the European invasion. However the memorial is meant to be a dedication to all Native Americans. References: http://www.crazyhorse.org/ DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: --------------------------- My artistic impression of the future memorial used a Poser model as a basis with a number of modifications added inside Rhino. All other aspects of the piece were created inside of Bryce. The scene was rendered in 800x600 resolution and exported in JPG format. Paint Shop Pro was used to insert my name and date.
